We now head into Week #6 of the challenge! Doing good so far and now down a waist size! Size 36 now (I haven't seen this since late 2001). Enjoyed a couple of cheat meals - one on Valentine's Day (did you really think I'd go Paleo for dinner at the Franklinville Inn??), and I had a hankering for Italian yesterday. Didn't overdo and feel good today.
I'm looking forward to tonight's training at The Training Room. They're starting a new 4-week block of training and new challenges abound.
I'm taking a slightly different approach this week on the diet: meal planning. With gas prices what they are (thanks big oil business interests), heading out for lunch as often as I was is going to be more curtailed now. Trenton doesn't have all that many places around the office...and frankly, I don't feel safe walking along State St. these days.
I picked up some frozen tilapia at ShopRite on Saturday and I'll be doing that, along with veggies, for dinner tonight. I think I may do crushed pistachios and almonds as a crust, and sear the fish in a pan. Hopefully it will turn out okay.
