This morning, I arose with a less-than-cheerful attitude about this whole Paleo thing. Though I started the day with 3 hard-boiled eggs as I had done on yesterday (along with the homemade applesauce I had made on last night), I had coffee.
You might say - "that's not bad". Well…sigh…it wasn't "bulletproof"…it was regular coffee with…uh…um…a *little* International Delight French Vanilla creamer. But before you faint to the floor by the shock of this, I believe I absolved myself from this transgression by being quite good the rest of the day…
Lunch was "Big-Assed Salad Version 2" from Saladworks. It contained:
*grilled chicken
*diced tomatoes
*broccoli
*red onion
*carrots
*roasted red pepper
*shrimp
*spring mix greens
*1 small scoop of balsamic vinaigrette
**skip the roll
**no feta cheese, since it's a violation of the Paleo plan
Dinner tonight was at Applebee's. It consisted of a 9 oz. sirloin, grilled shrimp, and double veggies.
Have not experienced pangs of hunger...so that's a good thing.
Workout today went well. I didn't feel sluggish at all. Did pretty well with the pull-ups also. I used the bands that offered less resistance, and did okay with them. Did the KB swings / squat thrust finisher with a 24KB bell.
Grade for day: I'd give me a B.
