Brrr! It's a cold one! An Arctic blast is currently hitting us here in the Northeast and is supposed to stick around until Friday. It's supposed to get worse tomorrow. The only positive that I can take from cold weather is the convenience of shopping for perishables during lunch hour and not having to worry about spoilage when I leave the stuff in the trunk.
I'm going on very little sleep today due to a bad bout with insomnia last night. Though there was some (low-quality) sleep in the pre-dawn hours, I'm a mess today.
Yes, I will be hitting the gym this evening (call me dedicated...or crazy...or both). It's a conditioning workout and it should tire me out. It may be wise to stave off going to bed until at least 10pm.
New Year's Eve was an entire week ago. This month is certainly flying by!
Are pianos selling these days? I just listed Mom's last night on eBay, a baby grand Mason & Hamlin that was purchased waaaaay back in May, 1976. Mom isn't at all literate on computers or smartphones (though she has an iPhone) so it's on me to handle the auction. Damn, it was 39 years ago when Mom bought it. For years, the top was kept down and simply displayed many photos of relatives that we (including Mom) didn't know personally.
I'm kind of in the mood for Chipolte for lunch, with a stop at Trader Joes.
I took the Beetle to work today. Speaking of the Beetle, the heater in that car works really well.
This day isn't moving fast enough.
Stay tuned.
